I just wanted to share a little about my experience with Field USA. Even after retiring, I didn’t want to stop learning and growing in my faith. That’s where Field USA came in! Parker Hossler - Orchards Community Church
I took the Practice of Preaching class with Justin Whitcomb and I’m so glad I did. Justin was such a great professor to work with, he was always there if we ever needed help or had any questions, and encouraged us along the way. One time during my time in the class, I was feeling stuck and I asked Justin if we could meet to go over my message. He was more than willing to and provided such great ideas and encouragement to me. This class has helped me a lot in understanding how to develop messages and to understand all the different parts that go into message preparation. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in growing in their understanding of how to build messages.

Throughout these classes with FUSA I've been learning a great deal about different skills of good leadership and the theology of the Christian faith and how to guide, through service and strengthening of the Holy Spirit, people to Jesus Christ. Without ministry classes I would be probably not be a true disciple of Jesus. Without ministry training I would have been happy going to church week in and week out not growing myself, or anyone else closer to having a true relationship with Jesus. While the training is fun. There is an unmistakable importance to the purpose in participating that takes place. We are all called, ministry training has helped me to see why! God bless!

I've been taking the Ministry Training classes since September of '22. I don't have any official or formal education for ministry, just some prior experience to the MT. I have taken some unofficial Bible classes in the past as well, BUT these courses/classes in the MT have been a refreshing, encouraging, challenging and a confidence boost towards God's call.

I’m so thankful that my pastor, Pastor Matt Mendenhall at First Missionary Church in Clarkston, MI, talked to me about the Ministry Training program through Field USA. I just finished my first online class (via Zoom): Strategic Leadership and Management with Pastor Anthony. I learned so much in just eleven weeks, and I leave it with both the tools and the confidence to better carry out the LORD’s calling and vision for my life.
I can’t say enough good things about Pastor Anthony. He modeled the leadership principles with a down-to-earth teaching style, while using real life/practical examples to illustrate the material.
There were about 15 of us in the class, so it was just the right size to pray together, and have both large and small group discussions where we applied what we were learning to our personal and ministerial lives. I felt humbled by my classmates, who have an obvious love for Jesus and a passion to carry out the Gospel and found myself blown away by their collective insights and takeaways. They inspired me.
It’s pretty amazing that I can highly recommend the FUSA Ministry Training after only one class, but I can and do.
